Hi, I’m Candice
Delightfully dubbed, "Your Party Godmother"! My story started off in an entirely different path. I started in restaurants for over 15 years working front-of-the-house, back-of-the-house and as well as management & bookkeeping. In 2005 I graduated with Honors from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA with a degree in Culinary Arts. Soon after, I started a catering business in Los Angeles, met my husband and we had a beautiful baby girl. I worked on growing my business for 6 wonderful years and had an absolute blast! In 2013, we decided to move south to a small, beachy surf town called Encinitas while expecting our 2nd child. I made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to my business because of the distance and complication of relocating and rebuilding it while being a mom of 2 in a new city.
I went from working girl, to stay-at-home mom and it was the hardest (yet most rewarding) job I’ve ever had. During that time with my 2 beautiful girls, I learned so much about myself. That my creativity went beyond the kitchen. I loved painting, crafting, and designing. I have always enjoyed throwing parties. My love for hosting events intensified when I had children. I threw very detail-oriented birthday parties. As we made more friends in Encinitas, my parties grew and grew. The elaborate nature of them grew and grew. I am definitely known as “the Party Girl” amongst friends and family.
The business was started with my dear friend, Kirsty. Working in events herself, we started this journey together during the summer of the Covid pandemic. She was a wonderful partner that helped get this business up & running in record time! Moving forward on this journey solo, I am comforted in the never ending support of family & friends. And confident in my passion and creativity.
I’ve never been more excited about what we do here at OhMy! Creative and how our boxes can truly help people enjoy the parties I’ve always loved to throw in my personal life. Parties create happiness, great memories and moments I cherish. This is what I feel I’m now meant to do at this chapter of my life. Spread love & parties.

Katie-Lead Craft Instructor
Those who know me well know that my love of education runs deep and my passion for the arts even deeper so I am excited to put the art education hat back on for OhMy! Creative. Wherever I go I find myself engrained in all things music, art, and theatre with some of my earliest memories being paper plate crafts with my brothers and picking flowers to press between wax paper on hot summer days. Now I tend to focus on painting, illustration, paper crafting, and creative lettering. When I am not working or crafting I am cooking something new, watching competition shows with my dachshunds, or venturing the great outdoors.
Rachel-Lead Craft Instructor
Hi, I'm Rachel and am beyond thrilled to be able to honestly say that I've landed at my dream job- a craft instructor at a party shop! How fun! I grew up in Charleston, SC, then spent six years right outside of Philadelphia after college before moving back to my hometown. I started teaching in 2014 and I've taught special education and general education, and one of the constants in my career, no matter the population or grade, was my zeal for crafting and projects with my class and over the top decorations for any occasion I could pass off as a reason to decorate!
When I am not crafting or decorating, odds are that I am outside planning a new DIY project and passing the time with one of our many backyard buddies. My husband and I live on a farm with two dogs, two cats, two pigs, four goats, six hens, one rooster, five ducks, and a whole collection of rabbits. They all bring so much joy in their own, unique ways. So, between a dream job and the farm I didn't even know I was dreaming about, I'd say life is good!
